Overall Satisfaction with Microsoft Entra ID
We use Microsoft Entra ID as a Identity provider in our organisation. Microsoft Entra ID provides single signon experience and also makes a single identity to be used in every application. This helps to reduce accounts maintenance burden. It also provides access management capability. Also conditional access policies provides secure access to applications.
Pros
- Access Management with access reviews
- Conditional access policies provides secure access to apps.
- Microsoft entra id can be managed from portal, CLI and other programming languages
Cons
- Most of the functionalities need to be managed via CLI commands. It would be great if we can manage it in GUI
- License cost is less compared to other solutions
- It provides more functionalities compared to other solutions
We have hybrid environment where we use Entra connect to sync to Microsoft Entra ID.
Yes, Servicenow, AWS and other apps are integrated with Microsoft Entra ID for authentication.
ServiceNow, AWS. We do have onprem apps connected with Microsoft Entra ID.
Yes. User experience is seamless with secured access with MFA.
License and some capabilities are better in Microsoft Entra ID
