Overall Satisfaction with Microsoft Entra ID
We use it to protect our identities for both ourselves and our customers and it's also being expanded to include applications now, so we're protecting applications with it.
Pros
- It integrates with other companies very well, so somebody can log in with their credentials and with that single sign on they can use our product and our applications with their sign off. So it does business to business integration.
Cons
- Well, I'm an active ad admin, so there's a lot of features in active directory that Entra ID seems to be just adding now. We're kind of figuring out that the policies are different than Entra ID that they were in active directory and we're finding other products to do that, like Azure policy. Some things I'm used to seeing in identity products or like active directory aren't in Entra iID, but are doing good job of managing stuff that it does so far.
- That's a hard one. We don't really measure ROI on things like identity.

Yeah, we're using it to secure a couple of different apps including learning management system. I should have mentioned that earlier. But yeah, that product is a third party product and we use it to synchronize and use identities with that. We also use it for a password vault. We use our actual IDs to log in and with that third party product.
Articulate 360 and Keeper are the two I was just talking about.
Yeah, it's much more seamless. It's nice to have applications that use on ID Office 365, so I don't want to use that.
We've used other Microsoft products and we've also used some standalone products, like each application you can have its own identity, so we've looked at some of those too, but we try to use the Entra ID as much as possible because it offers a wider range of reliability.
