Overall Satisfaction with Microsoft Power BI

I use Microsoft Power BI for data visualizations of pie charts, bar charts, and presentation slides.

Pros

  • Represents each data input accurately
  • Provides great templates such as maps and charts that integrate accurately with data updates
  • Reliable and easy to share with team mates and save.

Cons

  • Hard to integrate data visualizations in a presentation slide, as the data is detailed and hard to showcase as a simple map/chart in the slide
  • Learning curve is intermediate, so youtube tutorials are a necessity.
  • Great for reporting on market data trends and data analysis for key decision making
  • Reliable database integration
  • Great selection of infographic templates
Reliable, easy to use. Great for data visualizations that are more reliable and accurately draw from the database than chatgpt, which can deviate from the prompt request.
Microsoft Power BI has more templates and the control panel for modifying data visualizations is more powerful with more choices of line charts, bar charts, maps/scatter points than Google Sheets, which is limited to simple bar charts and pie charts.

Easy to create infographics of hundreds of rows of data. Very intuitive to select design layout of graphs, charts and tables that update in real time. The AI feature shows suggested infographic templates, which is very helpful and saves time.
