Overall Satisfaction with Microsoft Powerpoint
Microsoft PowerPoint is used across our organization as well as in our Regulatory Department. Primarily, PowerPoint is used during meetings to present new information. While meetings have transferred to virtual meetings, PowerPoint has remained the core presentation software for presenting new information. Additionally, it is standard for various employees to contribute a few slides to an overall larger PowerPoint. PowerPoint allows companies to create a default slide design, making it easy to compile different business units presentations into one other one.
- Slide design is simplified and clean
- Great graphs and visuals
- Cohesiveness between slides of different authors
- Presentation mode does not always work smoothly with Teams integration. Difficult to display the correct screen.
- Audio and Video integration not as smooth and often doesn’t work in presentation mode.
- Slide design concepts. The pre-designed slides make it really easy to organize information.
- Visuals and graphs are simplistic and good at getting obscure dates to be simplified for [an] explanation.
- Increased efficiency
I’ve used Google Slides in the past, however, I’ve noticed that it is not as easy to [create] organized, good looking slides. PowerPoint has [a] much better slide design and output of information. It’s easy for even new users to create professional looking slides.
Google Slides offers a joint editing capability that is similar to what PowerPoint can offer, however, real time editing on Slides does not work smoothly.
