Overall Satisfaction with Microsoft Powerpoint
I created and maintain an hour-long presentation that we use for all new hires in our company. I personally onboard 35-50 new hires a year. I chose this platform because of its ease of use and ability to integrate several media applications for a full sensory experience. This includes high-resolution photos, videos, and audio clips.
- Its consistency across all updates.
- Integration of media
- Ability to use alongside other programs, like video sharing.
- The tool bar has so many options that I don't need.
- Sometimes moving text around in boxes gets cumbersome
- Back end of presentation isn't sleek looking
- Being able to keep our branding in the presentation, by creating templates for our office to use.
- Ease of use in keeping notes while presenting.
- Closed caption options for hard of hearing!
- We have elevated our new hire experience by giving context, adding the why we want you to hear is crucial. This is done in PowerPoint.
- It's relatively a quick task to get a presentation together. Little training is needed-this means more time doing the connecting and presenting.
I have used the presenter in Apple. I found it to be harder to wrap my head around. I have been so used to PPT that I don't crave any other product. I have been using it for 22 years.
