Overall Satisfaction with Microsoft Project

I had used MS Project to schedule the activities of a construction project during my internship at the University of Texas at Austin. It was used across the board. It's fairly easy to use and understand.
  • Easy to use.
  • Clean interface.
  • Doesn't have capabilities like Primavera.
  • It's at a very basic level.
  • No customizable capabilities.
  • MS Project is a fairly simple tool and doesn't require much training.
  • It's cheaper to have this software when compared to many others in the competition.
  • Helps better understand what's coming up in a project, to help with front end planning.

Primavera is slightly better in terms of task management for huge projects. But MSP is easier to use.
It's perfect for small projects with limited resource allocation and not many types of resources.
