Overall Satisfaction with Miro
For my scope, Miro is good at making mind maps and describing a "complex anything," such as a process, an idea, or a situation. It may take time to review these mind maps, but they efficiently clarify stuff... and can give ideas about how to shuffle or change that stuff. I think the software is great, even if I think it still lacks some flexibility when connecting different branches in different ways or when severing and reconnecting elsewhere. The main limit is that the process, the idea, or the situation may change while they are described... or simply get clearer and clearer! Therefore, it is imperative to have maximum flexibility beyond the "rules" for notes and connections. The software should adapt automatically to those changes.
Pros
- Designing a process or a situation, an idea.
- Describing the above for getting the agreement on how the desired final flow shall be put together.
- Introducing changes to improve a process, an idea, a situation.
Cons
- Auto recognizing of the level of the two branches I want to link.
- Add the possibility to edit the status of a note or bubble, promote/demote.
- Add keyboard shortcuts helping, limiting the mouse clicks.
- Helps address quantities where/why a change is needed.
- Describing possibilities for a change.
- 500k/y revenues is a reasonable target.
It helped in some specific situations. It can help control T&L costs... but adoption should be wider as it might unlock potential also in any meeting in presence.
