Overall Satisfaction with Miro

Miro helps to efficiently organize and share ideas among different teams, giving the freedom to start from different templates and arrange elements as is requested by the project. In my job, I have used it to run some brainstorming sessions on how to improve the speed of project development for appliances and to organize the development process among several departments.

Cons

  • In Kanban framework is not easy to display content, need to zoom a lot.
  • Make more easy the board sharing settings.
  • Copy the format from one shape to others.
  • Improve multinational team collaboration.
  • Improve the time needed for organizing activities.
Miro easily integrates with many external software thanks to the app store. I used the Google Drive app to add existing presentations to the board and the Google Calendar app to attach the Miro board to meetings and workshops. With the Google Image app, it is very quick to search and attach images to the board.
In my team, I work with people from different locations and times. Miro gives the flexibility to every team member to enter the board at any moment, apply for some modifications and add comments with a tag to the other people. Every time a change happens, everything is tracked and can be shown in the board history.

Miro is perfect for brainstorming and for organizing project activities. It is flexible to add and assign tasks to people in the Kanban agile view, even if sometimes it cannot display all the activities information and it is needed to open the related activities. Adding powerpoints links lets you link some presentations to the board, to have all the required information at the same point.
