Overall Satisfaction with Miro

I am working on a global project with a team consisting of individuals from 10 different states and two different countries. Most of our work at the front end (brainstorming, process mapping, ice breakers, swim lanes, etc.) was collaborative and was done in Miro. Now, more work is done at an individual level. However, we still utilize Miro to bring our separate work together and create a cohesive solution for this project.

Pros

  • High level of engagement and personalization (stickers, gifs, colors).
  • Ease of use for individuals with all technical backgrounds.
  • Helpful templates that make it easy to kick-start any meeting or session.

Cons

  • The use of Miro without a mouse is sometimes tricky.
  • Limited access to the number of boards you can own.
  • Some members of my team had a difficult time navigating selection vs. panning across the screen.
  • Improved Productivity.
  • Increased Team Engagement.
  • Increased organization.
It has allowed us to be collaborative on a smooth interface that can support multiple users engaging simultaneously on the same platform. We can see each other's work in real-time and follow along with the actions being performed by each or any individual. It has promoted engagement and accountability of our projects as each individual can contribute at any given moment and fosters a better sense of teamwork.

Do you think Miro delivers good value for the price?

Not sure

Are you happy with Miro's feature set?

Yes

Did Miro live up to sales and marketing promises?

I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process

Did implementation of Miro go as expected?

I wasn't involved with the implementation phase

Would you buy Miro again?

Yes

I find that Miro is highly appropriate for a team that is either completely remote or just scattered across different areas of the world. It is useful for collaborative and organizational needs such as planning, meetings, brainstorming, and things of that nature. I would say that Miro is less appropriate for a team that is physically present.
