Great CRM for SMB and LOVE the automated sales reporting dashboards
Overall Satisfaction with monday CRM
We've been using the monday.com core product for a couple years now and we decided to test out the CRM product before making a final decision. Historically we've used HubSpot, but since the rest of our internal processes were all executed in monday.com, I am hoping to keep everything in that environment. The goal is to recreate our CRM with contacts, companies, deals & pipeline projections. We are just starting to test the other pieces of the CRM like outbound emails, etc.
Pros
- Maintains Contact Records
- Visualizes the pipeline and deals automatically
- Separates leads and contacts efficiently
Cons
- It takes a while to get used to the UX if you are used to Hubspot or another CRM
- We are still testing mass email functionality, it's a little less intuitive vs Hubspot
- The quote/invoice forms are not pre-built into the CRM the way they are in Hubspot, so you have to manually set those up. Some might see that as a positive thing because it's more flexible with your respective tech stack, but it required more research on our end to make sure we set it up to flow efficiently.
- Saves me a lot of time on Sales Reporting
- Keeps all our internal projects in the monday.com platform
- Took some time to get used to the workflows and internal operational processes
I think I've covered it in other parts of this review, but I think monday.com CRM is a "HubSpot Lite" product. For the more basic sales reporting, monday is better because it auto-generates most of the dashboard. We're already using monday.com for almost everything related to our business, so the transition in terms of layout/formatting/etc, was relatively easy. Depending on your viewpoint, the flexibility of the monday CRM product can be a great thing. We're able to integrate a variety of Contract/Invoice/Quoting tools into monday. On the flipside, HubSpot has that all built in natively. We are actively monitoring the monday CRM alongside our HubSpot instance, we use both in tandem right now, but I consider it an active discovery phase where we'll continue to evaluate and ultimately move all of our CRM efforts into one of those tools.
