Overall Satisfaction with monday marketer
We use Monday to track my team's marketing tasks, activities, campaigns, and so on. It is easy to use and set up and gives more of a visual representation of where we are tracking. I am a big fan of Microsoft and typically would have used Microsoft Planner - but Monday gives more functionality and automation. I can also see activities in a Gantt chart which is beneficial when giving a high-level overview of leadership. I can probably do a lot more with the platform!
- Helps me tag and categorize different marketing activities so we can see where our efforts are being spent (ie: internal projects, content, web, digital...)
- The drag and drop and setting up of new boards, tasks / activities is really easy
- Creating automations to move activities, trigger new actions etc is easy
- I don't have any examples at this stage
- Decreased the time we spend in status meetings - we can see it all in the board and use meetings to discuss priority tasks
I like Microsoft Planner for simple collaboration in the Teams setting but I find Monday has more functionality and looks better (with color-coding, various categorizations, tagging, and status levels), you can automate actions and have all your activities in one place, rather than searching for different Teams or channels within a Team. You can also now integrate Monday into Teams.
