Overall Satisfaction with Kibo Personalization (Monetate)

Just by our Ecommerce Dept. we use the platform for testing, optimization and some personalization

Pros

  • Easy to use, self-service platform
  • Solid customer success management team
  • Platform scales well
  • Ability to run as many tests as desired concurrently
  • Easy to digest performance metrics and reporting

Cons

  • My one gripe is the flicker that occurs onsite when running a test.
  • Self-service testing solution
  • Robust product offering especially when it comes to personalization
  • Support team was a key differentiator to other solutions and led to the success of the program
  • Testing led to significant improvement in our KPIs
  • Provided great learnings on how to improve the site experience
The key differentiator at the time was that Monetate provided strategic resources that the other solutions did not around roadmap planning, development, and QA.

I really enjoyed working with the Monetate platform. I thought it was easy to figure out and pretty self-service compared to other solutions, had a robust offering with great reporting, and our support team was very helpful. The platform was pricey, but I thought well worth it as long as you are taking advantage of all of the capabilities.
