Overall Satisfaction with Moogsoft
Moogsoft is being used as an Event Management tool and acts as an event entry 2nd layer tool. In most of the architecture, there are primary monitoring tools such as AppDynamics, LogicMonitor, Solarwinds, etc which collects monitoring data and events and forwards the same to Moogsoft which then processes the same and takes out meaningful information and then passes on to the ITSM layer for ticketing and reporting.

Moogsoft is a very powerful tool and is a strong competitor for Splunk, Service Now, and other Event monitoring tools such as BMC Truesight. It is widely used by GSIs and individual product-based organizations due to fact that it is a scalable and less costly product as compared to the other tools mentioned. Moogsoft might required some serious skills on Linux/Unix and Scripts but once done then it would be a great event management tool.
