Overall Satisfaction with Motive

We use Motive to track equipment and drivers and overlook what is going on daily. This helps us identify hours of service, driver behavior, and maintenance needs. We are a vehicle transportation specialist.

Pros

  • Tracking of driver's logs allowing Dispatch make plans accordingly.
  • Updates of equipment location allowing for accurate tracking.
  • Provides fault code information to help determine the need to get equipment to a shop.
  • Visibility into our drivers' behaviors providing video and telematics.

Cons

  • Make visible all equipment the driver has used that day and what they are currently in (truck and trailer).
  • Making sure the app is compatible with older devices.
  • Alerting drivers if an update is available through the app.
  • Drivers are being more safe.
  • Visibility into drivers behaviors is easier to obtain.
Support is amazing. They have a support portal. The account rep is constantly communicating. Calling in or emailing is very easy.
The integration between Motive and our other software has been very easy to set up. It allows us to use the Motive dashboard for most needs, putting many things all in one place.
When the app or platform has issues, they are typically resolved very quickly. Many times, the issue may persist, but the system is still able to be used.
Night and Day. The quality of products is much better with Motive.
