Overall Satisfaction with Motive
We have begun using Motive to address our needs for improved telematics and camera visibility for our organizations fleet and assist in improving driving habits and create policies to improve the safety of our employees, clients and the general public. We currently have 92 vehicles and 102 towable assets that we are tracking.
Pros
- Telematics and tracking of vehicles and non-powered assets.
- Video recording for incident investigation.
- Video recording for training purposes.
Cons
- So far, I have not found any areas of improvement relative to our business.
- Improved safety awareness.
- Fraud prevention & protection.
- Reduced fuel costs.
Motive has given us insight into where we are winning and losing in our fleet program. We have been able to identify situations that had unexpected cost potential. We are also to help employees correct behaviors that could likely end in damage losses for the company. The ability to use video to teach our employees what the behavior is and help them correct it is invaluable.
The Motive Card! In the world of vehicle telematics there are multiple players that all have very similar capabilities and products are all very similar. The true tipping point for us as a business was the Motive Card. The potential fraud prevention and simplified tracking of fuel costs was what drove our decision of Motive over the others. The staff was also a big selling point to me. I am sure as time goes on we will see even more advantages to our decision.
