Overall Satisfaction with Moz
Moz is being used by our Marketing team to better inform the decisions we make with our website content. They use it to monitor our SEO related issues and map our social media campaigns together with Google Analytics data. This informs the types of content we place on the site from CTAs to blog posts. We also use MOZ to monitor our clients' websites for the same types of issues and data points.
- Website Crawl Diagnostics - finding the issues that aren't readily apparent that hurt your organic SEO results
- They do a great job at graphically representing the vast amount of data that has been compiled about your site
- Keyword and opportunity recommendations
- Competitive Analysis
- The initial results take a while to compile especially if it is a large site. This can take a day to a week to get initial results.
- They could streamline the reporting aspects of the crawl diagnostics report. At current you have to visit several screens to see what the recommended fixes are.
- They could add LinkedIn to the Social Reach features.
- Increase in organic web traffic
- Increase in inbound leads
- Increase in social reach
There are a lot of analytics tools in the SEO / Inbound space and I can say without hesitation that MOZ has a space in every technology stack. For example, at WSOL we use Google Analytics, MOZ, and Hubspot. While these three tools offer some similar features, they each offer stronger features in different areas. So for example, if you only subscribed to MOZ for the SEO crawl diagnostics, it would be more than worth it. This is an area where Google Analytics and Hubspot would fall short.
