Overall Satisfaction with Mozy
I support a client who uses Mozy Pro for backing up a single Windows Server application and data in a small business environment. My client utilizes Mozy Pro for offsite backup in addition to onsite backup for data protection.
- Backups are cloud-based with great customization retention policies
- Easy to use restoration procedures
- Setting up backups are very easy and wizard-based
- We have found no areas for improvement. It works, and backups and restorations are very simple
- Positive impact: we had a server failure two months ago and was back in business within two days of the event by restoring data from Mozy.
We use Mozy in this client setting because he was more familiar with the user interface and workflow than the other products.
