Overall Satisfaction with MS SharePoint / SQL
Sharepoint is used across all the departments in the organization. Sharepoint enables us to monitor, collect, and analyze critical business data from desktops, smartphones, or any Internet-enabled devices, in order to achieve an accurate view of business operations.
- Extremely convenient to collaborate effectively by setting up websites for sharing information related to projects.
- Enables users to manage documents with interactive dashboards and graphs to analyze organizational needs.
- Easy to customize, providing options to edit components and create your own custom applications to suit your organization.
- Excessive features can sometimes be overwhelming and difficult to locate. Also, configuring security is slightly complicated unless you are a SharePoint developer.
- Sometimes the application freezes and locks up. However, this could be due to the network configuration from my organization's end.
- Loading the calendars is sometimes slow and freezes.
- Liferay Digital Experience Platform (DXP)
MS SharePoint integrates excellently with all the MS Office products, making it the default choice for any organization using MS Office. Comparatively, it's easier to build a portal on SharePoint than on Liferay for our requirements.
