Overall Satisfaction with MS SharePoint / SQL

We use SharePoint to store our documents so that each department can collaborate. It was very easy as we had to manage multiple documents from tenders and requirements spanning different timelines.

Pros

  • Good integration with the Microsoft ecosystem. Active directory security is an advantage.
  • Remotely accessible and the files are up to date. We can link to local storage.
  • Version control.

Cons

  • The search function is confusing.
  • Navigation can be annoying.
Google Drive is not yet up to the corporate requirement.
Notepad++
When you use Windows OS, MS SharePoint can be very convenient to use and manage documents.
