Overall Satisfaction with NetBase

NetBase is used to analyze sentiment analysis for current running campaigns. We also used the word clouds around certain subjects to see what other things were associated with it. We use it for each campaign as well as campaign research to help increase knowledge surrounding the campaign topics. My whole department of data strategy uses it.
  • The word clouds are very useful.
  • The fact that data is all in real time.
  • All the graphics help when trying to relay information.
  • Limited historical data.
  • Tedious process when 'including' and 'excluding' certain words, domains, authors, etc.
7 - We are all a part of the strategy department and within that department we are part of the data strategy team. We are responsible for analyzing data and social media insights and turning the information into meaningful bits of knowledge that the everyday person can understand.
Along with NetBase, we use New Media Measure as another useful analytic tool. New Media Measure is good because it's more specific as far as including social media platforms go. New Media Measure is better for pulling data but it's not used really for sentiment analysis or building new queries. New Media Measure is also great for specific targeting.
  • It improves accuracy of targeting leading to new client wins.
  • Streamlines campaign management leading to better efficiency and increased profit.
Best for background research on a topic and best for sentiment analysis I believe. Really nice for social media specifically because it pulls from various social media platforms. Again, love the word clouds and the ability to build out different queries. Nice because you can get granular data such as specific conversations.
