Overall Satisfaction with Nextiva Business Phone Service
We switched to Nextiva from Freedomvoice. We needed to expand our team and add two desktop phones to our offices. Freedomvoice no longer offers desktop phones or phone support. We ported fourteen phone numbers. Provisioning our existing and new phones was difficult and required hours of tech support. However, once phones were provisioned and system customized to our requirements (also required hours on the phone with tech support for customization) the system works really well. I have seven business and seven different call flows. With Freedomvoice I was required to have seven separate accounts and logins which made administrating the system cumbersome. However, with Nextiva I have one account and log-in where I can see all of my numbers, call flows, messages, users and teams in one place. This make administrating temporary call flow or message changes very easy and convenient. One con is that I can only log into the Nextiva app with my main account log-in and therefore can only receive calls from one business, rather than being able to receive calls from all of my call flows.
Pros
- Offers physical phones and support
- Responsive and knowledgeable tech support
- Customization of system
Cons
- Provide transcription of voice mails to emails
- Allow a user to call and receive calls from multiple call flows on the app.
- Incompatibility with the only Xfinity home gateway that Comcast will provide. We had to purchase our own gateway and still have not been able to get the internet to work.
- It has allowed us to expand our businesses
- It allows us to be more portable and not miss calls
- It has made administration of the system much easier and less time consuming.
