Overall Satisfaction with Okta

Our fully remote company uses OKTA as our multi-factor authentication system. To access all the apps and programs I need for my role, I sign into OKTA on my laptop, then confirm my login on my phone. This enables single sign-on to access our company's data.

Pros

  • Ease of use- good user interface both on a desktop and on the mobile application.
  • The security works well for our company, offering a centralized authentication.
  • Single sign on efficiency prevents password fatigue.

Cons

  • I do have to reset my password quite frequently. However, I don't think there is really a way to improve this, as it's a good security measure.
  • It makes me re-sign in a couple of times a day, sometimes if I haven't used my laptop for a couple of hours, and sometimes just randomly throughout the day.
  • It doesn't remember my devices, either my laptop or phone. so it always calls that out.
  • Reduces password fatigue and keeps all my apps together in a central location for easy access throughout the day. Adding new apps is simple.
  • I am more productive by using the centralized app's portal rather than logging in to lots of different applications.
  • Nothing is automated through OKTA but it does improve our security.
Yes! I feel like I can operate more efficiently at my job because OKTA is my landing page for opening all applications.
When I got a new phone, I had trouble transferring access from my old one to my new one. OKTA support was very helpful and patient with me; they responded quickly and resolved my issue.
i wouldn't be able to login and do my job if okta was down. I have never experienced any downtime or errors when accessing OKTA. it has been completely stable for the past 4.5 years i have used it

I enjoy using Okta; it is simple and reliable. They have great customer support if there are ever issues. It is low-maintenance and stable.
