Overall Satisfaction with ON24
We use ON24 to provide ongoing education in a virtual classroom setting. It is available for the entire organization to use. Some years ago we used a Microsoft solution for webcasting which was unsupported and unprofessional. With ON24 continuously updating to meet the technology demands of the 21st century, most recently the move away from Flash players and content access requiring only a browser, this allows us to be where our audience is.
- Internal communications
- Lead generation
- Training
- ON24 is able to be viewed on any device with access to a browser and the internet. This makes the content we deliver able to be viewed by anyone anywhere.
- ON24 provides a great deal of customizable options which allows us to change or update our console with very little effort.
- ON24 quickly converts our recorded web sessions into on-demand viewing formats and we're able to push out this content in as little as an hour. We go from hosting a webcast to having new content posted on our website in a very short time.
- ON24's functionality is impacted by browser selections and flash technology. I've noticed a spike recently in webcasts that begin precisely on time but viewing audiences see no change and their system remains frozen. Only a response through the Q&A widget alerts them that we have indeed begun.
- I was notified that we are moving to a flash-free update of ON24 but have been warned that there is now a 20 second delay between what the speaker says and when the audience hears it. In terms of logistics, this is barbaric. I'd like the audience to be able to follow along at the same pace as the presenters.
ON24 is integrated with our company's CRM, Microsoft Dynamics, through the adjunct use of Marketo, used for lead generation. At present, we use the reporting of webcast and topic attendance to equate to a lead and interest. We are able to use polling questions to determine genuine need, understanding, and opinion. We are not using Marketo to drive content related o webinars but I understand that is on the horizon.
- We have not been able to definitively link ROI with webcasts and consider this not to be a fault of the platform but rather dependent on attendee motivation.
- Increased customer awareness and increased participation are by-products of using ON24. We reach the leaders of industry and national financial leaders during our events and they trust that they can attend and receive value. They are also discerning technology users.
- We also use ON24 to ensure that we include our employees in on-going education. This means that our people get the on-going education credentials they must have and awareness of the impacts to our industry from a huge array of sources.
We continue to use WebEx in less formal situations, in client meetings, and to provide internal employee-only training. There is a tremendous cost jump when using ON24 and with it comes the professional console, adaptability, customizable widgets, and audience interaction, etc. We put on the best face possible and ON24 helps us do that.
