Overall Satisfaction with ON24

We use it throughout multiple medical education webinar programs. It helps us with polling and integration using their API to get meaningful data from our learners, as well as making it customizable and keeping it as an enduring program after to improve accessibility and opportunity to market it to more learners.
  • Polling.
  • Metrics.
  • And API.
  • Connectivity.
  • Intuitive knowledge center.
  • Tools for engagement.
  • Keeping enduring and live learners in one dashboard.
  • Engaging learners.
  • Connecting to other resources.
  • Track registration and attendance
We started using ON24 to launch a medical education program on COVID-19 in March of 2020 to reach clinicians and give them the most useful information we could. We then used this platform to launch now over 100 programs on COVID-19. IT has been very useful to our company and medical education in this regard.
There are several drawbacks to this in a term of scalability because of the sheer cost of adding additional accounts. In terms of scaling programs, there is also a barrier because any amount of learners above a certain amount costs an amount that is not suitable for the free medical education that our company provides.
For some people I wouldn't recommend it if they do not have the time or resources to set it up from beginning to end. It takes a lot of manpower to make a webinar but sometimes it is difficult to justify the price of the add-on packages and other things.

Using ON24

4 - Our marketing manager is responsible for updating all of the email copy to reflect the event/program being hosted, as well as the registration page information.

The designated project manager uses ON24 to author and upload slides, videos/polling, and pull data/metrics for our outcomes manager to use. This PM is also usually the moderator for all hosted webinars.

The other 2 do not ever log onto the ON24 platform, but will use the presenter tool to assist in managing Q&A during live webinars.
2 - Typically, two members of our IT team are responsible for ON24 support. This includes making sure that our SSO functionality is in working order, as well as that we are using our API tokens to keep our metrics dashboard updated. Since we have been using ON24 for some time now, upkeep here is minimal and easily replicated/duplicated for each new program.
  • Hosting webinars
  • Collecting data
  • Customizable console
  • Launched rapid COVID-19 education in early 2020 in order to give clinicians the most up-to-date and contemporary information
  • Used console builder to make call to actions to our other programs
  • Used data API to help streamline metrics gathering for our programs
  • Might use breakout rooms
  • Exploring broadcast feature for upcoming programs
  • Longer-form webinars
In general, ON24 is a relatively affordable platform for hosting webinars, which is invaluable considering the sheer volume of webinars that we do. It is refreshing to be able to duplicate webinars since we have many similar ones. Unfortunately, sometimes the interface on the presentation tool is a little clunky and hard to navigate.
