Overall Satisfaction with ON24

We use ON24 as our primary webinar platform for lead generation efforts. Before switching to ON24, we were just using Microsoft Teams. One of the biggest issues we were facing was the lack of engagement, interaction, and personal connection from using Teams. It felt like we were inviting people to a podcast with slides. That's where ON24 came into play. The ability to have multiple ways to connect ahead of time, during, and after the webinar, all within the platform was a game changer.

One thing that we tried within the ON24 platform was allowing for as many touch-points as possible within the Console (the platform itself recommends this). This means giving the viewer chances to share their information in different ways. One of those key ways was setting a voluntary survey on the right side of the screen. We asked a few questions to get their opinion on industry trends, but also gave them the choice of asking for someone to reach out to them. We were shocked at the number of clients willing to fill out the survey, without being asked to. This is something now we're continuing to duplicate across all our webinars.
The flexibility within ON24 allows you to truly customize the viewer experience. One the biggest impacts has been using hyper-localized webinars for different regions of the United States. This not only allows for more personalized content, but a real connection to the viewer. The great thing is that we're able to quickly duplicate efforts and make slight content adjustments to serve another area. This has drastically reduced the time needed to spin up a webinar.
It has a lot of flexibility in being able to duplicate previously created webinars or save templates for things like the audience console. In addition, you can also create completely custom automated emails through HTML and CSS within the platform. This allows for stronger brand consistency and stronger email results. These features really have helped our department tremendously.
ON24 is better than Microsoft Teams in every way. Teams lets you down in so many areas, especially in the biggest way - human interaction. ON24 makes webinars fun, engaging, and each company can tailor them to their needs. Teams feels like the basic "budget" option, while ON24 is like buying a luxury car. It's all the small details that make a difference.

ON24 is great if you have just a few main people producing a webinar (setting it up and building graphical elements). By keeping minimal hands from touching the platform, you have a lot more control and consistency over layouts and overall design. I'd recommend having at least one person on the team who can also really dig into new features and use-cases because the platform takes time to understand at first.
