Overall Satisfaction with ON24

We use ON24 mainly for the Webinar functionality. We used to struggle with getting everyone together on the same dates for webinars on a monthly basis so the Simu-live functionality has been a game changer for us. Being able to record a webinar in advance when everyone's schedules are aligned and then broadcast it at a later date means if someone has an emergency meeting or needs to be on site we can reschedule and it doesn't affect the webinar and we aren't going out to a live audience.

  • It's not always obvious how to do something, it can be multiple clicks deep from where you'd expect it to be

  • Everything has to go through ON24 you can't send videos or demos for people to use without going through ON24 for reporting purposes but can lead to a bad UX

  • Increased number of webinar registrations and attendees
  • Increased number of willing speakers
We use the insights for feedback to our business development team to give them a list of engaged contacts to follow up with after a webinar. They can also see who didn't attend and get feedback on whether they want to view the webinar on demand or sign up for a different event more suitable to their needs.
We haven't seen/used too many new features from ON24.
It's great for webinars where there is minimal interaction between presenters, but when presenters need to speak to each other, it can become frustrating due to a slight delay in audio. The product as a whole has been revolutionary for us in terms of logistics and the amount of webinars/videos we can record.
We previously used GoToWebinar, which was fit for purpose, but we would often need to cancel webinars or change presenters at the last minute due to unforeseen circumstances. There was also a bug in the system which meant 1/40 people or so just wouldn't be able to hear the webinar which was frustrating.

It's well suited for businesses that need flexibility in webinar recordings with a simple but advanced platform that can be easily explained and used by different stakeholders. We have found that there is some delay on the audio between users so it can be less suitable in scenarios where people need to talk directly to each other on the platform.
