Overall Satisfaction with OneCause

We use OneCause for our annual fundraising gala. The product handles everything from Supporter Registration and Auction packages to Table seating and every aspect of the fundraising process. They provide staff support at the event and help ensure the smooth running of the entire process.

Pros

  • The onsite staff support is amazing for troubleshooting issues.
  • They assist with our raise a paddle fundraising.
  • They assist with messaging for our attendees before and during the event.
  • They assist with Auction close out at the end of the event.

Cons

  • The new platform is more difficult for table seating than the previous platform.
  • On the new platform, those who purchase a table can manage their own tickets. This does not work well for us and most of our participants. It causes confusion.
  • We increased revenue from our auction items by offering previews and higher minimum bids.
  • Too many emails were being sent to our participants. They were confusing, and we received several complaints.
Overall, it is user-friendly for those of us at the organization. It is not very user-friendly for our participants, who are a bit elderly and not very tech-savvy.
They are very helpful and responsive when we reach out. They have a good understanding of the fundraising event process, so they can offer valuable input and advice to address our challenges.
