Overall Satisfaction with OneCause
The We Share A Common Thread Foundation uses the OneCause fundraising platform for the silent auction portion of our annual fundraiser. It makes the process so much more efficient by collecting the credit card information and billing the winners immediately at the close of the auction. It allows us to check out our winners with ease. It also allows us to gain extra supporters who are unable to attend the event but still want to bid on our items and help support our cause. We also use it to promote our specialty raffle for a few days before the event, again, allowing those unable to attend to still purchase a ticket for a chance to win.
Pros
- Ease of uploading silent auction items.
- Keeping track of donors and ticket sales.
- Providing QR codes for each item allows the signage to direct people directly to the item they want to bid on.
Cons
- I would love to make it easier to log comp tickets. We give 2 comp tickets to a few of our nonprofit partners. Many only send in 1 name as the contact. So, it is hard to register the unknown ticket in the system.
- It is definitely a time saver, allowing the marketing department to jump in and help online during crunch time.
