  • Lessens the stress on event planning staff at my organization because the platform is intuitive and easy to use. Moreover, when there are questions, training videos are great, easily available resources.
  • Has been particularly wonderful during our gala event "raise a paddle" event, allowing real-time notice of how much we've raised. Our audience loves to see the number go up!
  • The step-by-step planning guides and suggestions ensure that we don't forget or miss any important pieces.

  • creating efficiencies by having one tool that we can use for our event instead of multiple softwares
  • it would be better if it could integrate with our CRM; i have to do manual data entry post event to get it into our current database.

  • Although it is a great way to manage your event, the amount of time that is necessary to learn everything at startup is a downside.
  • This did streamline the process of ticket purchases and event management saving time in the long-run
  • If this were to start charging a ticketing fee, this would quickly remove the appeal of the program, overall
  • The option for the donors to cover the costs of the credit card processing, overall, saved us money.

  • Definitely time saved during the event.
  • For sure more money brought in because of ease of use.
  • All of my events are the same, and sometimes having the same prep calls can be long and tedious. In that way, it doesn't feel like the best use of time. I know they are valuable but I wish there was a way to tighten them up. Especially for people who have been with OneCause for so long and aren't doing many things differently.

  • Definitely saved us a fair amount of time in terms of individual ticket sales and managing guests on the back end. Did not save us that much time for sponsored tables as most of our guests did not purchase their sponsorships through the site.
  • OneCause doesn't seem to have a function for entering a "Reserve Value" for auction items--i.e., while it allows for a minimum bid, it doesn't allow for having a minimum sale value, which meant that a few of our auction items sold for far lower than their value, which was unfortunate.
  • Having the support package on the night of was critical for our organization, particularly as ALL of the full-time staff had very limited experience working with OneCause/Bidpal. Knowing that there were experts there to help liaise with the auctioneer and to troubleshoot with any guests experiencing issues was really essential.

  • Once data is in system, it is great to be able to see the breakout of income.
  • Time for training was hard to find.
  • Depending on wifi at times can be problematic depending on your venue.
