Overall Satisfaction with OpenX
We used OpenX in a educational platform, to show ads to engage the user with similar content and to do A/B testing for registration styles.
- A/B testing was particularly good, having the ability to configure probabilities and other settings.
- Analytics was well detailed.
- Integration and implementation were simple and easy to customize.
- User interface is not so straightforward.
- Documentation was not as complete as it could be.
- We improved conversions using forms to register (as if they were ads) in OpenX.
- We created awareness of the richness of our content.
We selected OpenX because most of the team had previous experience; it was free and we were able to self-host it.
