Overall Satisfaction with Optimizely Content Management System

We use Optimizely CMS as our marketing corp website. All our product information, company blog posts, Events and other online information is managed through the CMS.

Pros

  • Content management
  • Multiple websites from the same CMS
  • Multilingual support

Cons

  • A better ui/ux on the backoffice would be great
  • Ability to add subdomains through the portal
  • More options and flexible properties
  • We were able to gather different online resource under on CMS
  • Increase in traffic is handled pretty well by Opti cloud.
We initially started with the CMS, but as our site and content matured, we opted for the AB testing addon and it have give us many possibilities to traget our visitors and provide them better results.
Much better and targetted content creation
We were able to very quickly launch a new website with Optimizely as many our developers are .Net developers and since Optimizely is based on.Net, things went pretty fast.

Very well suited for big organizations and enterprise websites with multiple websites and languages as the cloud deployment and management makes it very easy.
Maybe an overkill for small organizations.
