Overall Satisfaction with Oracle Analytics Server

It's just a good tool or application overall to enable us to build reporting. Moreover, it amplifies analytics through its very good use of visualization. It helps with the end-to-end process of the analytical journey, from start or customization to the high level of visualization to the analytics via visualization.

Great, if you are limited to using it along with other Oracle products; sadly, not if you are integrating with other products, which can be a challenge. It is a great product with tons of functionality and great integration with other in-house platforms. Great visuals and customization for data and analytics to provide decision-making data and analysis.
I think Oracle Analytics Server does a pretty good job against its competitors and, in fact, may surpass them in many areas. The cost is just a limitation, especially for small—to medium-sized organizations. The user interface and visuals are a win. Another limitation is the integration with other platforms.

The overall platform is great. My criticism is not limited to this application but rather to most of Oracle's applications, specifically its customization ability for small—to medium-sized enterprises. I understand the rationale of taking the best practices industry-wise to create a package for everyone, but unfortunately, this does carry with it limitations where customization is necessary.
