Overall Satisfaction with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure
We tested out a few of Oracle Cloud infrastructure services for selecting services among cloud providers for our company's migration to the cloud. Services include computing instances, object storage, MySQL database, and data science services. We wanted a seamless migration from an on-premise data center to cloud infrastructure for all workloads. For an enterprise of our size and needs, OCI seemed to be a good option.
- Database services.
- Logging
- In database machine learning.
- OCI Workflow.
- Support is not up to the mark.
- Limited options for OS images for VM.
- UI can be improved to match the competition.
- A limited number of services offered.
- Cost saving.
- Availability
- Managing the Kubernetes cluster becomes easy.
OCI does not stack up against these products due to their wide range of services, support, and ease of troubleshooting. There is an abundance of tutorials on the services provided by the competition, which makes them more easy to use. However, OCI is very competitive in pricing.
