We use Oracle across the enterprise supporting applications using it as a back-end. We use it for both transactional and warehouse.

Oracle delivers superior performance and uptime. If managed correctly, the TCO does not have to price it out as an option. It delivers superbly and we see it as a workhorse database. It scales and we run over 100+ multi terabyte databases on the platform. We do see performance drops for the other two platforms when they go beyond 10+ TB.
