Overall Satisfaction with Oracle Dyn Managed DNS

We use it for our DNS of the site and related services.

  • reliable
  • The user interface is abysmal. I am shocked that it has been alive this long and is so terrible. Ghastly and bletcherous.
  • The whole user flow
  • logins and user management
  • audit logs
  • We regularly try NOT to be the engineer that has to log in and make changes. It really makes us think twice before we want to make changes.
We have actually considered running our own DNS but would gladly jump ship if management allowed us to.
I have contacted support and seem to always get terse answers without a lot of help. Not really friendly or accommodating.
I would recommend Dyn only if every other option was off the table.
