Overall Satisfaction with Oracle Linux

We use Oracle Linux distro for every customer. The OS is very easy and absolutely free to develop/host and update our customers' apps and data across the globe. I personally use it in my lab to practice and test some personal stuff.
  • Robust Linux option.
  • Cost effective.
  • Strength and stability.
  • Compatibility issues when using Oracle Linux with non-Oracle virtualization software (especially on-prem deployments).
  • Issue with patches and bugs while running.
  • It takes time to get feature upgrades.
  • Hurdles during upgrades when running.
  • It's very cost effective.
With Oracle Linux we can improve security, reduce downtime, simplify operations, and reduce downtime.
So far we have had great support and features using different Oracle products. Thanks to the world-class Oracle team building these products with a forwarding vision. Keep going!!

We use Oracle Linux to host our very critical customer applications and data. The application upgrades are very well compatible with the distro. Thanks to the extraordinary Oracle Linux team for building this.
