Overall Satisfaction with Outreach

The user experience has been a great one. If anything we become so happy and good at using the current platform we are hesitant when updates are rolling out. We become resistant because it forces us to change our processes just a tad bit but it almost always leads to more streamlining of the processes.
Outreach is being used by our Sales & Customer Success department. My involvement is on the sales side as a SDR. Before using Outreach, the company used Yesware but I really rallied for Outreach because I had used it in my previous role and loved it. It really helps us stay on top of the most important task as well as be as efficient without losing detail. We have noticed more success in our campaigns and better tracking results in better results.

Pros

  • Outreach is wonderful at prioritizing the most engaged prospects so that you can always strike while the iron is hot.
  • Outreach has a great support and Customer Success team that are ready to help and guide you through pretty much anything. You can easily take a screenshot of your issue and get help right away.
  • Makes you into a beast of a salesperson/rep with their calendar, dialing and email functionalities.

Cons

  • It could provide a smoother platform. It needs to be refreshed sometimes and can be laggy.
  • Sometimes the API limits can be lead to improper update of Salesforce record with the correct touches and status of prospect (engaged, nurture, rejected etc)
I don't generate reports on Outreach. We have a team lead that handles that. I only have to work on my daily tasks.
  • I am not sure about numbers but I know we have at least doubled our meetings set for the year.
  • We closed a deal that came from an Outreach campaign that more than doubled our ROI.
The Outreach Customer Success team was great when they came onsite and ran through the platform and have been great with setting up web meetings for any major updates or functionality changes. Outreach is so intuitive to use that we don't really need to work with the Customer Success team too much other than for new updates. The post-sales support was on-par with what I experienced with the similar type of subscriptions.

Outreach is well suited for any Sales representative looking for a to set the most appointments as efficiently as possible and also great for closing roles where you don't have an SDR for sourcing your own leads. It might not be best to use outreach in roles where you don't have low volume of daily tasks.
