A normal payroll run is very simple, however if an employee has numerous "special" items - like PTO, Bonus Pay, Holiday pay, etc., the interface gets a bit clunky.
I would rate Paychex Flex as a 9. They have generally eased the stress of payroll, taxes, etc., for a small company like mine. Might not be as effective for a much larger company. Initially I dealt with fairly rapid turnover of my specific agent that I dealt with - which was frustrating. My current specialist has been here quite some time now and is excellent.
