Overall Satisfaction with Paychex Flex

In the function of a non-profit organization with many divisions, departments, and a wide range of employee types, Paychex Flex has been an invaluable tool. Its top-tier performance was a great benefit to us during many employee transitions. It's really an all-in-one, one-stop-shop sort of business solution. As a user, I was able to manage the payroll and attendance of employees and paid volunteers. There's a smooth and well-supported implementation, and no question is too 'out there' for the implementation team to handle. For more in-depth accounting and HR pieces, benefits, insurance, and other HR services are unified into one platform. I found it user-friendly, mostly intuitive (I am constantly on the run, so intuitiveness could use some spiffing up), and perfect for the tasks it performs. I would think the only drawback is that 'where did I find that again?' feeling. There are a few functions that I would need to access only on a bi-yearly basis, and I'd have to hunt around for a bit. At times, it could be overwhelming to find some less used features I had found before, especially when someone else needed the information and they weren't as savvy with navigation. Keep in mind, many platforms are all like this but the customer support makes this a breeze as you can actually talk to a human being that listens and helps.

Paychex Flex was easier to navigate. Our budgeting and PTO tracking flowed better with Paychex Flex, and as a manager, I felt more comfortable with working /with/ my employees instead of them carrying the load on their tracking. Plus, Flex has given us the ability to be more cohesive as a team and not take up extra, valuable time that could be used to work.
You get a person and not an automated bot when you reach out. The people know their product from the ground up! There is no question too weird or no scenario too unmanageable for the solutions team to handle. Even with some of the initial implementation meetings, we knew that we were in good hands.

Some of our staff needed advanced training to break down their tasks into more bite sized pieces, especially our paid volunteers who didn't interact with technology on a daily basis. We felt very confident in their ability to learn, and they did! The platform is easy to manage and use for a wide range of skillsets.
[Paychex Flex] is well-suited from end user to HR. All types of employees can use it, and our non-profit had several coordinating segments/divisions that all needed to work together or cross-train/work between divisions. It's very well-integrated for a holistic look at attendance, time, payroll, and HR benefits management.
