Overall Satisfaction with Paychex Flex

I enjoy the ease of use, and I like that my employees can access their information online. The app makes handling inquiries while I am away from the office a breeze. Having all reminders for enrollments is very convenient. If I ever need support, my payroll specialist is available to answer all my questions.

Pros

Cons

  • Better Reports.
  • Notes on employees.
  • Positive employees can request PTO.
  • Neg. not easy to use confusing to most people.
  • Neg. if previously used flex with another company difficult to merge.
Negatively - I cannot pull a more detailed report. The need for a labor report to be run by 2nd tier levels is crucial. More ability to customize reports is needed. Having to do these manually is problematic and time-consuming. Reporting,, in general,, is not user-friendly and difficult to navigate.
I gave this rating because some departments have never responded to any questions. Some are very helpful and respond right away, but I have had a call-in for the past six months. I am currently having ongoing issues, and I have requested and written to a supervisor with no response.

While certain features are good, the back end leaves a lot to be desired. Reporting, customer service, and any technical issues are handed off to several people. The Client Services rep should know all the issues and where to direct people. It should be easier to use for non-technical employees.
An employee needs five months' worth of check stubs. I clicked, and all of them printed out in order. I'm looking you a report with the total hours.
