Overall Satisfaction with Paycor

We switched from ADP to Paycor towards the end of 2012. We use Paycor not only to process our payroll but also for time and attendance, leave management and as our HRIS system. The system is completely web based which makes upgrades quick and easy. Our supervisors love the time and attendance portion which allows them to easily approve the time of their associates.

Pros

  • Time and Attendance - very easy system to use that makes tracking daily or weekly hours quick and painless
  • Report - generating reports used to take us a long time with our old system. With Paycor you just select your criteria and fields and your report is ready within seconds. You are able to generate the reports in excel format which allows for easy manipulation and data analysis.
  • Processing Payroll - very simple system to use with a great user interface.

Cons

  • Hand Scanners - We have found that we do have issues with the biometric scanners from time to time. We do have to reload associates into the system more often than we would prefer.
  • Paycor has saved our manager/supervisors about 2 hours per week in paperwork. We were able to convert all of our time tracking and vacation usage to paperless.
  • Saved HR time in the area of reporting and data analysis
Paycor works great in a manufacturing environment where you have numerous supervisors who have to approve time for their associates. It allows them to see who is currently working and who has scheduled time off later in the week. Helps greatly for planning purposes.
