Overall Satisfaction with PCRecruiter
When I used PCRecruiter, it was being used an Applicant Tracking System. There was some invovlvement from other departments who were involved in the hiring process. The business problem that is was addressing was ensuring organization in the interviewing and hiring process.
Pros
- Allows you to search for candidates in the database.
- Allows you to send out email templates to potential candidates.
- Allows you to track the process of a candidate.
- Allows you to enter candidates into the system.
Cons
- PCRecruiter is designed to be used by a staffing firm so it was difficult at times to be used as an applicant tracking system for an organization.
- Making sure to refresh the page to ensure the information was actually added.
- More organized recruitment process.
- Consistency in the communication that is sent to candidates.
- A history or timeline of when things happened such as when interviews were set-up.
I have used WorkBrain which was not as collaborative of a system. In Workbrain, I was always entering information into the system by hand. I have also used Boss Payroll system and was entering information into the system by hand as well. Boss does not allow you to store email templates or track the recruitment process (have a timeline for the process).
