Overall Satisfaction with PDFelement

We use PDFelement to prepare PDF documents for our clients. Usually, to combine multiple files into one. Sometimes we have to edit the content of different PDFs before sending it out to our clients. I believe one of the business problems that we faced is the inability to edit the content of the PDFs. The free PDF software out there does not do a good job of helping you edit the content. For those who need to scan files and require OCR, this is also something we need.
  • A perpetual license, no monthly or recurring fee.
  • OCR (optical characters recognition)
  • Content editing
  • Ability to change the color/theme of the program.
  • Cost to have a perpetual license
  • Functionality
The experience is different. From a cost perspective, PDFelement is more cost effective and can get things done.
There is a lot of learning. Although some of the functions you can probably pick up relatively quickly, some of them, including compressing the size or using a different language, remains a myth to me.
It is highly usable because I really need a working PDF software that has the capability to edit and perform OCR.
Coming from a different software platform can pose some challenges but everything takes time. The location of certain icons are different but if you try it out for a bit, you will get used to it.
This is a great software if you need to edit content and also use OCR on scanned documents.
