Overall Satisfaction with PiiQ by Cornerstone

PiiQ is used by all departments in our company as our performance review system. We are trying to get our managers to get in the habit of using it for quarterly reviews as well.

Pros

  • Customization
  • Detailed spreadsheets
  • Mimic mode

Cons

  • The way that weighting is indicated on goals would be easier if you could just type in a number instead of those dots.
  • Not having the weightings automatically added/included to blank/empty goals
  • A feature that allows other managers to provide input on employees reviews (on the actual review, not via 360)
  • Employee reviews
  • Employees are made aware of where they may need to improve
  • Better tracking of goals
As previously mentioned, with the PiiQ upgrade, there were things that improved, but there were things that didn't. I still think there is room for improvement.
The support has been pretty great. I've almost always been able to work with the same person which I like. The response time has been pretty timely as well.
ADP's performance management and one from another payroll system we were considering switching to, but ended up not going with.
There are some things that made Cornerstone more user-friendly when the PiiQ upgrade happened, but there were some items that made it harder to use. Some of the features that were added were beneficial, but others were not. I feel like there is still a lot of room for improvement.

    Hi, Thank you very much for providing feedback on PiiQ! We are happy to hear that your users are finding benefits with tracking goals and what they need to improve as well as that the new PiiQ system has made improvements compared to the previous version. We are always striving to improve the system so your suggestions are very helpful. I will go ahead and forward your requests on different format for weightings, multi-manager reviews, and preview of set-up (which we are currently discussing about). As for the weightings being automatically added, we do advise to delete blank/empty goals and not to create a new goal unless a new goal will be entered. After the new goal is entered, the user can adjust the weighting accordingly. Also, changes can now be made to the set-up (such as the wording etc) even when the review cycle is opened.
