Overall Satisfaction with Planview PPM Pro (formerly Innotas)

Planview PPM Pro is currently being used by a few divisions in the company. It is being used to manage projects as well as track hours and what tasks individuals are working on for each 40hr workweek.
  • Manage Projects by creating timelines and organization.
  • Allows users to easily track hours and time on their timecards
  • Integrates well with our company's HR dept.
  • The pin feature, where you can pin tasks to the timesheet categories does not always work. Can be fixed to be more reliable.
  • Easily communicates with upper management and business employees the projects needed to be worked on and the given timelines.
We use both to allocate time and track hours, however, while both are different, they serve some similarities. Planview PPM Pro is well suited for the HR side of allocating hours while VSTS is better for planning workloads using Agile Scrum Methodology.
It is extremely good for having a log of projects and timelines. It works well with multiple users using it at the same time. For time sheets and allocating of hours, there are a few hiccups, but it works well in that it does the job.
