Overall Satisfaction with Planview Projectplace

Currently, one department is using Projectplace -- the department for Efficiency Audit. We use it as a project tool for projects we have in various municipalities, but only use it internally as a cooperation tool, and for reviewing reports etc. We are mainly situated in one office and one country, but also do some work at our client's locations and our home office.
  • Document management and reviewing.
  • Project planning.
  • Cooperation.
  • Cross-project overview and task management.
  • Storage.
  • Better collaboration.
  • A better system for documenting work.
The single factor singling out Projectplace was Document Management. Also, the fact that Projectplace has a domestic (Norwegian) helpdesk, as well as GUI, was a factor that we found positive
Projectplace is good for working on, and following up on, projects, both for myself and as a team. I find it less suited for day-to-day follow up on specific tasks. It's missing the possibility for filtering tasks by labels, specific projects etc.
