Overall Satisfaction with Postmark
Postmark is used as our primary production email service. We also utilize it for our client support team to track transmission and receipt of various emails sent to our direct and indirect customers. We have been utilizing their service for years, and I don't anticipate us making a change anytime soon.
Pros
- Excellent real time tracking of production server.
- Automated reporting is very nice. Great to not have to pull reports manually.
- User management is very easy.
- Cost effective.
Cons
- Latency can be an issue.
- Postmark utilizes a status page, which is very helpful however the last incident we experienced with Postmark was not documented on the page.
- API was simple to write to.
- We need a reliable email server with excellent uptime. Postmark has delivered.
- Postmark is a relatively low cost solution.
- Set it and forget it. Once we configured the service to our needs we have not had to adjust.
We found Postmark early on and have not looked back. There has never been a need to reevaluate the solution, as its cost is fair and the service has functioned as expected. We regularly recommend Postmark to our partners.
