Overall Satisfaction with Printanista

We use Printanista to monitor our Managed print devices, predict failures, automate supply delivery and monitor non Managed devices for replacement.

Pros

  • Provides RUI to monitored Devices

Cons

  • completely unreliable, alerts don't come in, no notifications for stale data
  • most of the time the RUI fails
  • Does not successfully alert for Photoconductor/MK kits
  • Printanista is so unreliable we have to spend extra hours monitoring it so our customer experience doesn't fail.
No because those features seldom work.
yes, in fact the integration on meter reads is the only reason i still use it.
Printanista has integrations with ECI which is a big feature for us. Besides that its pretty terrible

Support has repeatedly failed to remedy our issues. When i bought the software a key point in my purchasing decision was reliability, and most importantly specific supply alerts. To this day I dont get alerts for Photoconductors, MK kits, Fusers, only toners. I have expressed this disdain to my reps and the support team with no solutions.
