What is ConnectWise Asio?

The Asio Platform is ConnectWise's unified management platform launched in late 2021, providing scalability, automation, value-added reporting and insights, and a common user interface. Its open APIs offer extensibility and flexibility, and its business management features include PSA, quote and proposal automation, next-gen IT documentation, and real-time business intelligence.

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

I have beta tested ConnectWise Asio with the developers at CW and I have to say, when it's done I tink it's going to be great and very cohesive! The great thing about ConnectWise Asio is you can integrate it with a ton of things, but that can also be the daunting thing as well. All in one place would be huge.

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

ConnectWise Asio is used for all of our clients. The scope is around 10K endpoints and 400 customers. All of them are monitored by the platform to let us know if patching is needed or the patches went through successfully. It also allows for automation such as scripting to keep customers in compliance with things like CMMC and NIST frameworks. Overall, it is a popular tool with MSSPs for a reason and we continue to use it to keep customers secure.

Pros

  • Good for Patching endpoints
  • Excellent for staying withing CMMC and NIST frameworks
  • Allows us to easily remote into Endpoints to troubleshoot computer issues.

Cons

  • Lacks integration with several of the popular tools in our stack.
  • Doesn't have as many AI tools as you would expect.
  • ServiceNow has many more modules for customizing.

Return on Investment

  • We noticed a 13 percent higher ROI on customers when we moved to this less expensive option.
  • Technicians were able solve tickets faster than before due to the ease of navigation.
  • Customer satisfaction rose from 95% on average to 96.7%.

CRM helps us with current clients, whether it is submitting tickets, getting a hold of the right contact, or even to review payments.

Pros

  • contacting the right person from a company
  • showing sells opportunities
  • showing all lost and won opps

Cons

  • filtering out opps and dates better to where they are searchable
  • being more user friendly
  • updating new features more frequently
  • updating the search tab to where its easier to find companies and contacts
