Overall Satisfaction with Procore

Procore is being used by our company for every job we do. We are currently in the progress of implementing all of our documents into Procore so it will be a "one-stop-shop". Procore is great for being able to consolidate all of your needs into one web-based system. It also provides great storage for all the documents that are required for larger jobs.

Pros

  • Procore is an outstanding tool to use for providing all parties the necessary information by allowing the project team to manage access. We are able to keep all of our company documents as well as shared documents in on place, eliminating confusion and wasted time searching for documents.
  • Allows for better collaboration with subcontractors and design team for RFIs, submittals, etc.
  • Procore's IOS and Android capability make very user friendly for field staff to use iPad and smart phones to access information on site in real time.

Cons

  • Procore can be very hard for some subcontractors to grasp it out of the gate. It requires some training so everyone understands how to operate within the system.
  • At times procore can be a bit slow and bogged down.
  • Streamlined our processes for RFIs and Submittals
  • Provided a single source for information and documentation
  • Allows for a collaboration between design team and engineers
I have used procore on both large and small jobs. I would argue that on smaller projects it's better for a documentation standpoint versus a collaborative standpoint. I don't see a need to not use it if you want a place to be able to store information.
